What are flower essences?
They are a vibrational medicine similar to homeopathy, that work directly on our bodies electrical system to correct imbalances and negative emotional states. Their effects are subtle, unlike a drug where you feel the "suppression," flower essences simply put you back to right. The issues that were plaguing you before will, as Dr Bach put it, "melt like snow in the sun.

Flower essences are created through the energy of a flower to aid in energetic healing, they have no scent and are commonly taken internally. Essential oils are made from aromatic plant parts and are used externally. Essential oils can affect your mood also. You'll see them in lots of aromatherapy products. The Northwest Flower Lotions combine essences and oils for healing on multiple levels. The liquid formulas are essence only combinations.
Which is better, lotion or liquid?
It's personal choice, the liquids are easy and portable, you just put 4 drops in your drink. They are the traditional method of flower essence therapy and the one ounce bottle will last you a long time. If you are a lotion user already, then you can reap some additional benefits by using one with a flower blend in it. With the lotions you get the immediate benefit of the essential oils, which is nice since essences can take several days or more to work. You can also apply lotion to certain areas that are problems for you like putting Stress-Less lotion on tense shoulders. The key is pick the one you'll use, that fits into your life.
If you're using a liquid, the standard dosage is 4 drops 4 times a day, but you can get away with putting 4 drops in a big water bottle and sipping throughout the day. You can also put 4 drops directly under your tongue, but I only recommend that for the Crisis Care. You can also put the drops on your pulse points, or in your bath water.
With a lotion you can rub on the affected areas, or wherever you have dry skin, the chest area is good with most essences, as are the feet. Anything you put on the feet is carried throughout the body quickly. After you apply the lotion, cup your hands in front of your nose and inhale those essential oils.
The key with either product is consistent use. You want to be introducing these into your system several times a day, for a period of time for best benefits.

Plant Potion
Plants get traumatized too, and sometimes are planted in poor lighting
conditions or suffer stress from weather, bugs, disease, trampling,
sometimes your cat knocks over a pot, ya know, life. Anyway, you can
add 4 drops to a watering can or if you have a hose end sprayer, you
can mix it in with whatever you're spraying. AHelps with germination too. Contains essences of Self-Heal, Saint John's Wort, Arnica, Yarrow and Wild Rose.

Triple S (Super Skin Stuff) 4 oz spray
This is a new product we have that is a combination of acid water with flower essences. Acid water is simply filtered water with a PH of 4. The following is a summary of benefits from the manufactor. "It kills bacteria on contact, is a skin astringent, cleanses and tightens pores, good to mist on houseplants, improves smoothness and elasticity of skin, cuts oil and greasy dirt, helps heal cuts, scrapes, blisters. Relieves chapped and dry itchy skin, relieves poison oak and ivy, acne, eczema. Removes plague from teeth, reduces fungus on rose bushes." So I have taken the acid water and added essences of Crabapple and Elder for cleansing, Self-Heal and Fireweed for healing and regeneration and Star of Bethlehem for trauma and tissue damage. You can use this stuff on everything, it is so gentle and so powerful my mom cleans the oven with it. I am packaging it in a spray bottle, but don't let that stop you from taking the top off and dampening a cotton ball to use for cleaning your face, or putting in an eyedroppper to squirt some in your dogs ear. I mist this on my face several times a day for my acne, it is so quick and easy. I still get breakouts but they are smaller and seem to heal quicker and doesn't kill my skin like other antibiotics do. A friend glued his fingers together and we used Triple S and soap to get the glue off. You can even use this to clean your eyeglasses if you want one multipurpose product in your purse.
